Character Education Word for April is fairness: being decent and reasonable
with others.
MR. O’BOYLE
Mr. O’Boyle says that he is not ready for the school year
to be over because he likes the job when the kids are here. Next year there
will be new volleyball jerseys for the girls and new shooter shirts for the
girls’ basketball team. Mr. O’Boyle also would like to say good luck to the
8th grade class. He says that they have set a good example for the 7th grade.
He also said congratulations to everyone for this great year!

KRP
Right now in the KRP they are studying teddy bears. Each
child has to bring in their favorite teddy bear and show it to the class.
On April 27 the KRP parents and kids are having a pizza pizzazz. The KRP
also has a field trip coming up on May 16. The KRP parents are coming and
they plan on spending a day at the zoo. Then on May 17 they have their last
day of school. On May 18 & 19 parents are invited to look through their
child’s photos and journals that they have worked on throughout the year!
Hope you have a great rest of the year, KRP!

wonderful in A.R. Mrs. Wilburn’s class is planning on going to Powhatan for
breakfast. Two of her kids will be transferring to Mulberry Grove. She hopes
that you enjoy your summer.

FIFTH GRADE
The best things about the school year for Mrs. Eyman are
that she really enjoys her 5th grade students. She also loves to see them
learn especially when they get a little light bulb action going. Her students
are good in every thing they do, however, she would love to see them do better
in A.R. They went on a conservation field trip. They are starting to study
constellations in science. Mrs. Eyman thinks that the school year is going
by way too fast and she is going to hate to send her students on to 6th grade.
Have a cool summer!!
