What is the FFA?
FFA is a National Youth organization just for high school students involved in agriculture. It isn't about farming, it's all about fun. By enrolling in an Agriculture class like Introduction to Ag, Ag Sciences, Biosciences in Ag, or even a Junior/Senior rotation class you should have the chance to join FFA. Most chapters pack the year full of great field trips, contests, activities and social events. The best thing is that FFA is an intra-curricular club meaning, unlike sports, it is a class-supported activity so that you can be involved in it while still playing sports, being in musical activities, or drama events and other clubs. If you are interested in a fun and educational class talk to your school's counselor about Ag classes offered for you! It'll begin a great thing!
The FFA Mission
The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of young people by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
The FFA Motto
Learning to Do,
Doing to Learn,
Earning to Live,
Living to Serve.
